Just got back on the mountain after seeing the New Pornographers with Rich. fucking rights. It's skills weekend up here, so there are Federation people in swarms. I tell ya, it's a tough time to be a cynic.

Jan and I finally won the final round of Musical Bingo Thursday night. It was an 80's round. Aside from the admiration and adulation of our peers, we won the joy of choosing the traditional Bon Jovi song that caps off the evening. Jan went for Bed of Roses. hm.

In other news, we're moving in together come August. We'll have a fully stocked kitchen, two computers, but sadly no couch. I fucking love living on campus, so we've put in an application to live in Louis Riel up here.

Oh, and even though I lost the election, I'm still sitting on 4 committees or working groups. 5 if you count Forum, to which I'll be officially elected this Tuesday. For the first time since grade 12, I've got some focus, something to devote my time into. When I've got responsibility to something more than myself, my work ethic is deadly. When it's just me, I tend to self-destruct.

I may try at this thing again. I was bored a few days ago, reading other journals and weblogs and the like, and I didn't like most of them. I figured, as in many areas of the world, the best defense is a good offense. Here goes.
